Hempseed Fruit Bowl

INGREDIENTS

1 medium banana

1 Honeycrisp (or other variety) apple

1 medium naval orange

1 medium peach or nectarine

1/2 lb dark cherries

1 cup 2% Greek yogurt or Yoso cultured coconut milk

1 tbsp honey

2 tbsp fresh squeezed lime juice

2 tbsp Hemp Hearts Manitoba Harvest

Optional: 3 tbsp melted coconut butter or manna, drizzled over top (beware, it hardens, and it's delicious!)

INSTRUCTIONS

Wash all fruit well, then chop to desired consistency. (I prefer bite-sized pieces). Stir yogurt or substitute together with melted honey and lime juice. Spoon into a bowl (or see below if serving at a party!). Spoon the fruit over top. If using coconut butter, melt in a bowl in the microwave and then drizzle on top of the fruit. Sprinkle hemp seeds on top, and voila! A perfect brunch item or healthy snack!

Optional: serve in slightly carved out melon or watermelon, depending on how many servings you are making it for!

Optional: top with chopped fresh mint!

Serves 4 to 6.
