Sweet and Spicy "Meatballs"

Serves 6.

2 packages veggie meatballs

1/2 white onion, diced

2 cloves garlic

1/2 - 590 mL bottle Heinz chili sauce

2 tbsp concord grape jelly

1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce (or "The Wizard" vegan equivalent)

1 tsp chili pepper flakes

1 green onion, sliced finely


Heat a large saucepan to medium-high heat. Sear the onions, garlic, and meatballs all at once. Once you see some browning appear on the veggie meatballs, add the chili sauce and remaining ingredients. Simmer at medium-low heat for 10 more minutes. Remove from heat, sprinkle with green onion and serve immediately!
