Glorious Greens Juice
Get your greens on with this powerful green juice. When you accustom your tastebuds to bitter flavours, slowly you'll adjust to liking and even LOVING eating and drinking delicious, chlorophyll-rich and nutrient-rich green foods!
1 cup kale or 2 cups spinach or Swiss chard
1 romaine heart
1 whole cucumber
4 stalks celery or 1/2 of celery heart
2 gala or granny smith apples (granny smith makes a more sour juice)
1 inch ginger, peeled
1/2 lime, including rind
1 tsp chlorella/spirulina mix, stirred in afterwards
Set up your high-powered juicer. Select organic fruits and veggies. Wash and prepare for juicing (see Juicing 101). Juice away! Serve immediately.
